An Abercrombie & Fitch Refashion for my sweet girl

This Abercrombie & Fitch long sleeved refashion came from my closet of "too small" stash. Having decided that it was time to part with this favorite, it began its transformation into a useful and cute addition to my little 3 year old's wardrobe. I used measurements to down size the sleeves and reduce the body of the tee. I like to try to keep the hemmed part of a garment I am refashioning if at all possible and this is what I did for this particular top. From the lower portion of another equal weighted tee, I formed the turtle neck and attached it to the new neckline. A matching navy ribbon was carefully stitched and tacked to the front of the body below the screen print and under the sleeves. The ribbon gathers the extra fabric and ties nicely in back. What once sat unused in my closet is now a favorite of my toddler who loves her new Turtle Soup Tee Dress.
